The Racial Equity Blueprint (REB) is a three-part learning experience that helps you and your team understand how social location shapes behaviour, culture, and outcomes so you can build a more equitable organization.
We exist to support individuals and organizations that want to commit to anti-racism and racial equity outcomes with a trusted partner who can help them shift organizational culture and turn intention into action.

The Racial Equity Blueprint (REB) strengthens your team’s understanding of how social location impacts collective behaviour relative to equity through a series of three workshops.
Each workshop is a single, complete learning experience, much like a three‑act play. Together, they revisit the story of race and the construction of racial identity in North America and examine how these forces shape today’s institutions, their operations, and their outcomes.

- How social location influences power, access, and outcomes
- How these dynamics show up in your organization’s culture and systems
- What it looks like to move from stated values to racial equity in practice
REB is designed for individuals and organizations that:
- Are ready to commit to anti‑racism and racial equity outcomes
- Want a structured, asynchronous and facilitated process instead of ad‑hoc learning
- Understand that culture change requires both inner work and systemic shifts
- Are seeking a trusted partner to walk alongside them in this work
What you’ll learn inside REB

Module 1: The Unknown
As your organization embarks on the pursuit of racial justice, this workshop focuses on the inner work required to sustain the journey.
You’ll explore:
- The practice of radical self‑acceptance
- Why investing in interdependence is essential
- What it means to leave behind an idealized world for an unknown mental landscape
This session helps your team build the resilience and relational capacity needed to move through discomfort together.
Module 2: The Story
As you develop a new way of seeing the world around you, this workshop surfaces the narratives that shape your understanding of race.
You’ll explore:
- The old stories that blind us to the possibility of racial justice
- How those narratives are embedded in policies, practices, and culture
- The relationships and experiences that give birth to new, more liberatory narratives
This session supports your team in naming and challenging dominant stories so new possibilities can emerge.
Module 3: The Demands of Love
By this point, you begin to see that the idealized world you once wished for suffers from deep inequity when compared to the intentional world you are now walking toward.
You’ll explore:
- The gap between your organization’s stated ideals and lived realities
- What “love in action” looks like in institutional life
- How bringing those who have been marginalized to the center begins to resolve long‑standing tensions
This session invites your team to consider concrete changes in policy, practice, and culture rooted in love, accountability, and shared power.

2026 ASiO Cohort 5
Designed for member organizations of the Alzheimer Societies of Ontario (ASiO) who are ready to move from intention to institutional practice. This cohort follows a structured schedule.
2026 Fall REB Cohort
Ideal for organizations beginning or deepening their racial equity work in the Fall 2026 cycle. This cohort offers the same REB curriculum on a fall‑friendly timeline for non‑ASiO organizations.

This includes access to all three REB workshops, the online learning portal, community discussions, and all course materials for the duration of the program and extended access period.
We recommend a minimum cohort size of X–Y participants to get the most value from the shared learning and dialogue.
